On CHFR (swiss french) keyboard layout (mac Os) - alt-g doesn't produce the @ character #773

On CHFR (swiss french) keyboard layout (mac Os) Monterey 12.6.2 - alt-g doesn't produce the @ character. Every where else on the mac, with a chfr keyboard layout, alt-g is the @ character...

only workaround I found is to switch a us keyboard, press shift-2 to get the @ and switch back to the swiss french layout, not convenient of course.
