Cannot type cyrillic letters (MacOS) #594

In the console I can see Cyrillic characters correctly. But cannot type it. When being switched to Cyrillic keyboard layout and trying to type something, Latin letters appears instead of Cyrillics. In MacOS standard Terminal everything is Ok, I can type Cyrillic without any issues. "locale" command gives me:
LANG="" LC_COLLATE="C" LC_CTYPE="UTF-8" LC_MESSAGES="C" LC_MONETARY="C" LC_NUMERIC="C" LC_TIME="C" LC_ALL=
macOS Catalina 10.15.5
cool-retro-term 1.1.1
