Firstly this but is dependent to qmltermwidget, so it need to be fixed on it before adding compatibility on cool-retro-term.

To test compatibility I recommend https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/ucs/examples/ UTF-8-demo.txt

Here you can see that with cool-retro-term (in comparison with gnome-terminal):

  • Math expressions are misaligned
  • Poem are misaligned
  • Boxing are incomplete
  • Boxing have ugly artifacts
  • Depending to fonts, boxing are incomplete or misaligned
