Considering that CRT's underlying engine is a fork of KDE's Konsole and that KDE Frameworks 5 are intended to by nothing but modular Qt5 add-ons, there is hope that the QML work gets upstreamed to KDE again. With that it would be possible to use CRT inside Yakuake and get exactly what you want.
